I think this is my favourite PPV of the year. It’s exciting and most years it’s a great PPV with some class story building to Wrestlemania. Anyway, let’s get started with the predictions.
Men’s Royal Rumble Match
With 18 open spots, I feel like we could in line for a surprise (Batista, Daniel Bryan) however I believe WWE will go for the Shinsuke Nakamura vs Aj Styles option at WM34. Sometimes the most surprising thing to do is go with a guy who’s been mentioned as a possible winner, therefore, I’m going with Nakamura.

Women’s Royal Rumble Match
This one’s a tough one. I really don’t know what WWE are going to do with this one. I believe if Ronda Rousey debuts, then she’s going to win. However, if they do that they have ruined the undefeated streak of Asuka. Many people are saying Nia Jax, however, I think that Asuka will eliminate Nia as she has been built to be unstoppable going in towards the match. I’m really unsure on this one. I think Rousey will debut later on, on the road to Wrestlemania. I’m going Asuka

Brock Lesnar (c) vs Kane vs Braun Strowman – Universal Championship
We all know about the Roman vs Lesnar plans at Mania. I even made a rant about it. They’ve been building towards this for months now. No can kick out of Reigns’ spear and no one can kick out of the F5. Nevertheless, Roman was involved with misuse of drugs so could WWE change their plans with Strowman. I think we all know Kane is taking the pin. However, I’m gonna throw a spanner in the works and go with Strowman. Na, I’m joking I think Brock is gonna win this match.

Aj Styles (c) vs Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens – WWE World Heavyweight Championship
This story has taken a turn for the worse with Daniel Bryan now making decisions that are hard to justify, and I have no idea what direction Vince will go with the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 34. I’m interested in Owens and Zayn as co-champs but I don’t think it will happen. With Styles failing to defeat both Owens and Zayn on SmackDown this past week, it’s probably a good bet that Styles will overcome those odds at the Royal Rumble.

The Usos (c) vs American Beta – Smackdown Tag Team Championships
This may be the best match of the night. Just because of the talent in both teams. I hope this match gets a solid 25-30 minutes. But that’s highly unlikely unless it’s on the pre-show. If Chad and Shelton can’t win here, with a stipulation designed to protect them from fake injuries, blind referees, and other issues which seem to plague the so-called Land of Opportunity, they’re kind of done for. They’ve had opportunity after opportunity so I think they’ll win it tonight. I doubt they hold onto the belts for long, but they’ve put in the work and should get a run. Also, there is the drug scandal with The Usos in play as well.

Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan (c) vs The Bar – Raw Team Championships
There are rumours indicating that Jason Jordan could be injured right now, and considering how stacked this card is, this match might be kept pretty short. The thing that perplexes me the most is how The Bar lost two consecutive matches to Titus Worldwide this month yet there was no follow-up to that on Raw 25. So I guess The Bar will win the titles and then defend them against Titus Worldwide? Or what will happen after? I think The Bar will win as I believe Jason Jordan make a mistake causing them the match.
This PPV has great potential to be one of best of modern history. There is talent everywhere and I’m looking forward to the Royal Rumble matches. To be honest I’m not particularly sure who’s going to win any of these matches. So going into this show I’m extremely intrigued by what is going to happen.
