5. Mankind vs The Rock

This match was crazy. The fact that Mick Foley is still alive is bonkers after the amount of steel chair blows to the head. Anyway, you can tell The Rock and Mankind have a great chemistry in the ring and even though the end was a bit stupid. It doesn’t take away the fact that this match was great.

4. Lesnar (c) vs Cena vs Rollins

The build up to this match was great and so was the match it self. Lesnar was portrayed as an unstoppable force that couldn’t be stopped but after Rollins put him through a table he had to be carried out on a stretcher. Then Lesnar came back to destroy Cena and Rollins to retain his championship.

3. HHH vs Cactus Jack

This match projected HHH to the main event scene. Hunter took a lot of blows from Jack causing him to bleed and vice versa. I mean the violence on display is horrific but it’s still a classic to watch if your not a fan of the PG era.

2. Chris Benoit vs Kurt Angle

There were many crazy spots in the 20 minute match such as Benoit flying 3/4 across the ring to nail Angle with a diving headbutt. The technical wrestling was great and it shows you don’t have to use the same move over and over again to get a good match.

1. Aj Styles vs John Cena

If you didn’t expect this to be at the top position I don’t know what you were thinking. Cena and Styles were at Money in the Bank and Summerslam but this was the best. The story was about the indie scenes best wrestler vs Vince’s prodical son. Styles may’ve carried the match but Cena put in a shift as well though. If Styles won it maybe would’ve been better but that’s just my opinion.
