We Have Another Incredible Card for UFC 251!

The three major pay-per-views we’ve had in the UFC have been insane so far UFC 249 had one of the best, if not the best card of all time and UFC 250, even though it lacked the ‘star’ names that a milestone event would normally have, produced some of the best knockouts and finishes we’ve seen this year.

Now, over the last two days, Dana White has announced another outrageous main card for UFC 251, with three title fights and before those, we have Jessica Andrade vs Rose Namajunas, which is a rematch for the Strawweight title match we saw just over a year ago., just without the title. Even the first match of the night is an eye-catcher. We have two young women, both 26 going at each other in the flyweight division. Ribas, moving up from strawweight, where she’s looked pretty good will fight at flyweight for the first time in the UFC.

I can’t wait to see Yan vs Aldo for the vacant Bantamweight title, Volkanovski rematch Max Holloway as their first fight was brilliant. It’ll be interesting to see how Max approaches this fight as it seemed like he left it too late in their first bout. I think Burns vs Usman will be a good fight too, Burns literally just fought Tyron Woodley two weeks ago and even though he was dominant. He went five rounds with one of the best Welterweights of all time. I would’ve preferred Usman vs Covington 2 because I think Colby deserves a second shot at ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ or Masvidal but he’s had his issues with money, so we’ve got Burns. So from a quick look at the card, it seems like July 11th is going to be an eventful night.

We also got the news that Fight Island will be in Abu Dhabi and the fighters will have their own specific area to themselves in the capital of the UAE. Dana has done a brilliant job in getting this done and I respect all the pain he’s gone through to provide us fight fans with entertainment during these tough times. Finally, Stipe Miocic vs Daniel Cormier 3 has been announced for UFC 252, unfortunately, win or loss DC has revealed he’ll retire, however hopefully we still get to see him on commentary because he’s extremely fun on the mic.

It’s looking like the UFC is going from strength to strength right now and I can’t wait for the upcoming PPVs. Hope you all have a nice day!
