Another NXT Takeover has come around and by looking at this card, this one could set the tone for another brilliant year for NXT. We have great potential matches all over this card so I’m hoping it’s a great one.
NXT Championship – Adam Cole (c) vs Tommaso Ciampa
I think the prophecy is coming to an end. Roderick Strong lost the North American Championship to Keith Lee a week ago on NXT and I think this is Cole’s final match as champion. Especially because he’s facing the man who never lost the championship in the ring. Ciampa has come looking for his “goldy” and I believe he’s going to win it back.
Prediction: Tommaso Ciampa
NXT Women’s Championship – Rhea Ripley (c) vs Bianca Belair
I would love to see Belair as champion, but her time isn’t now, even though I think she can hold her own against Charlotte Flair, it appears that WWE is pushing towards the Ripley Flair face off at Wrestlemania, which should be a great match that I can’t wait to see materialise.

NXT Tag Team Championship – Undisputed Era vs The Broserweights
I feel a heel turn coming. Pete Dunne will turn heel. However, I’m not sure if it would be during the match or afterwards. There were hints to a heel turn on NXT on Wednesday. I’d like to see Dunne as a heel again as he’s brilliant as one and Dunne vs Riddle would be a terrific matchup. I think UE will maintain the belts for one more Takeover.
Prediction: Undisputed Era
NXT North American Championship – Keith Lee (c) vs Dominik Dijakovic
I’ve seen this match around 10 times already. And I’m damn sure I want to see it again! These two going at each other for 20 minutes with a title on the line? Sign me up! Lee just won the belt so I don’t see Dijak winning, but this will certainly be a contest to remember.
Prediction: Keith Lee
Finn Balor vs Johnny Gargano
This will be a sensational match. Two of the very best going at each other in a blood feud. To be honest I don’t care who wins I just want to see Balor and Gargano wrestle for 20+ minutes. I still think Balor will win though. He needs it more than Johnny Wrestling.
Prediction: Finn Balor
Tegan Nox vs Dakota Kai – Street Fight
This match may have been forgotten by some by I reckon that this will be one of the best matches of the night. Nox and Kai were former friends, now bitter enemies after Kai turned on Nox. They’re going to beat the hell out of each other. I hope this gets the time it deserves. My money is on Kai. She needs the win so her turn actually has a purpose.
Prediction: Dakota Kai
All in all, I think this will be a great show and it may change the complete landscape of NXT, I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
