Justin Ledet vs Dalcha Lungiambula – 205lbs
Going into this fight Justin Ledet is currently 8-2 in his MMA career. He started out as a Heavyweight having a perfect 3-0 run before failing a drug test which meant he wasn’t allowed to compete for months. Since his return, he’s gone 0-2.
Dalcha currently stands at 5’8, which is 6 inches smaller than his opponent, however, even with his height, his record stands at 9-1. If you look at his recent weighings, Dalcha has been consistently under 205 pounds.
I think Ledet will come out on top due to the fact he has a huge height and wingspan advantage meaning that Dalcha will have to get on the interior exposing him to more punches from his opponent.
Prediction: Justin Ledet by Unanimous decision
Jared Gordon vs Dan Moret – 155lbs
Jared Gordon goes into this fight with a 14-3 record. He stands at 5’9, 3 inches smaller than Moret, yet this will not be a factor in my opinion as Gordon is much stronger than his opponent so I’d expect him to bully Moret to the ground consistently especially as Moret’s ground game isn’t as good as it needs to be bearing in mind he isn’t that strong compared to Gordon. Due to that, I’m going with Gordon
Prediction: Jared Gordon by KO in round 2
Emily Whitmire vs Amanda Ribas -115 lbs
Ribas hasn’t competed in over 3 years due to her failing a drug test and I think that in- octagon rust will not be cleaned just yet. Whitmire goes into the fight on a high after beating Aleksandra Albu and Jamie Moyle in her last two fights.
Ribas can be dangerous on the ground so Whitmire would need to watch for that but in every aspect, I think Whitmire is better and will get the win.
Prediction: Emily Whitmire by TKO in round 3
Maurice Green vs Junior Albini – 265 lbs
Green goes into this fight with a record of 7-2, he’s four inches taller and has a reach that is 8 inches longer than Albini’s. Also, Albini goes into this fight on a losing streak ever since his first win since entering the UFC and I think we may not see an upset as Green is consistent in his game plan and with a huge advantage in length and height he’ll definitely be able to hit more strikes on Albini
Prediction: Maurice Green by TKO in round 3
Ricardo Ramos vs Journey Newson -135lbs
Ricardo Ramos started with 3 consecutive wins in the octagon after recently losing to Said Nurmagomedov. Journey Newson steps into this fight on two weeks notice after Sergio Pettis got injured. Ramos has the advantage when it comes to power as well as preparation time.
Journey Newson is a good grappler who has trained hard to improve his stand up game. In this case, I think we can see an upset as Newson stand up may come to a shock to Ramos.
Prediction: Journey Newson by Unanimous decision
Vinicius Moreira vs Eryk Anders -205lbs
Anders goes into this fight failing to win in 4 out of his last 5 matches. He is a replacement for the wounded Roman Dolidze. If Moreira is going to win it’s going to be via submission as all of his wins in his career so far have been from submissions.
Anders will have a chance though as Moreira isn’t that fast and could easily eat a couple of punches from Eryk. This one is a real flip of a coin for me as I can see both men coming out on top depending on which way the fight goes.
But for me, I’m going with “Mamute” Moreira as he’s in better form the Anders right now, but don’t be surprised if we see a first-round knockout from Anders.
Prediction: Vinicius Moreira by submission in round 1
Vince Murdock vs Jordan Griffin – 145lbs
This one is a tough one to call, to put it simply, Murdock is a good wrestler and a good boxer as well. Griffin is an all-rounder. Murdock takes the fight on short notice and that is the only reason I’m taking Griffin. Either way, it goes it’s going to be a good fight to watch and I think it’ll go the whole distance.
Prediction: Jordan Griffin by Unanimous decisionÂ
