If you didn’t know, Undertaker returned last night on Raw, in a segment which we saw Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre beat down Roman Reigns in a handicap match.
Now, firstly, why is this Roman Reigns and Shane McMahon feud still continuing. I didn’t want it in the first place and I’m sick and tired of seeing Shane McMahon having TV time over young talent. I’m 100% sure that we’ve seen Shane McMahon beat down Roman Reigns for the last 4 weeks on either Raw or Smackdown and it’s literally boring the living daylights out of me.
Now the fact that a 54-year-old Undertaker is getting involved with this monstrosity makes this even worse. Taker is old, feeble and can’t wrestle anymore so why in the hell would he be the one to save Reigns. I understand, it’s for ratings but bringing back the Deadman isn’t going to boost the ratings that much. Things like making good storylines that fans can invest in and wrestling matches that are actually good will.
Furthermore, do you remember when Undertaker was “retired” by Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33? What happened to that! Undertaker must’ve been paid a huge amount of money to be featured at a B level pay-per-view like Extreme Rules.
I’m genuinely concerned for Undertaker’s health as this man is years past his prime and I don’t want to see him get hurt. If we track back to that PPV last year in Saudi Arabia, which I refuse to name, you saw so many botches from Undertaker and you could hear him gasping for air halfway during the match.
To be honest, I don’t know what WWE is doing, I guess we’ll have to wait and see, but this doesn’t look good.
