On Monday Night Raw, The Bella Twins and Ronda Rousey had a rematch against The Riott Squad from Super Showdown on Saturday. The face team picked up the win due to Rousey performing the armbar to make Ruby Riott submit. However, after the match, The Bella Twins attacked Rousey from behind and they threw Rousey into the barricade and posts a few time.
Afterwards, in a backstage interview, the Bellas said their reason for attacking Rousey was because they believed she was taking their spotlight. Their reasoning was sound, however, they had the audacity to say that they were starting a “Bellalution”. When I heard that I felt physically ill. The cringe in that line.
Now personally, I don’t like the Bella Twins, I never have and I don’t think I ever will so this might come off as me being a douche but why the heck are they going to feud Rousey instead of someone who deserves it, for example, Bayley, Sasha Banks, even Natalya. I’m guessing we are going to get a tag match between Rousey and Natalya vs The Bella Twins but I’d rather see Natalya vs Rousey. Natalya deserves a title shot and I can’t stand the fact that one of the best women’s wrestlers of the modern era is just Rousey’s sidekick.
This makes me think who will Rousey drop the belt to. If I think about it the only option that makes sense is Charlotte Flair, however, she’ll get booed out of the country let alone the building. Asuka is no longer a threat, Nia Jax has already been defeated by Rousey, Maybe Shayna Baszler in future but that doesn’t make sense in my opinion. It’s a tough query and I think WWE has dug themselves a ditch with this guess we will have to find out eventually!
