Kevin Owens just quit WWE… So I was watching Raw and Seth Rollins was out in the ring saying how The SHIELD are work horses and fighting champions. So he opens up an Intercontinental Championship Open challenge.
Kevin Owens comes out, this makes sense as they’re in Canada, and states ever since returning to Raw his life has been a living hell. He also continued saying that the reason he lost to Braun Strowman at Summerslam was because he didn’t have Sami Zayn in his corner. He continues this great promo by saying, “I’m not leaving this building without a title.” Then he mocks the fans stating that Montreal is better than Toronto.
The two superstars have a great match which Kevin attempted a springboard moonsault which Rollins dodged and then connected with The Curb Stomp for the victory.
However, afterwards, Kevin Owens brought a chair into the ring and sat down. He was contemplating for a bit of time and out of nowhere he said the two words and walked away.
I don’t know if this was a shoot or he actually decided he was going to quit before but he walked down the side exit, which gives me the impression he was avoiding Vince and walking out of the company.
Well, this is a real shame, Kevin Owens is my second favourite wrestler in WWE and it’s a shame to see him go. I think he believes he has done everything he’s wanted to in the company and he doesn’t think he’ll be pushed anytime soon. Hopefully, he returns to the Indie’s and maybe he can make a return later down the line.
