Where do I even start? Is this the best PPV of the year already? I’m actually lost for words so let’s start the review.
NXT North American Championship – Adam Cole def. EC3, Velveteen Dream, Kilian Dane, Lars Sullivan
This was a great way to start the night. Holy hell, Ricochet is good. Every time I watch him he gets better and better. He was pushed off a ladder towards the outside and turned it into a moonsault. Ricochet stole the show. Velveteen Dream took many bumps going through ladders, falling from ladders, he was great as well. Cole won which surprised me because I thought he was out of Bobby Fish’s injury.

NXT Women’s Championship -Shayna Baszler def. Ember Moon (c)
This was a physical match that I really enjoyed as well. The story of the match was that Moon injured Baszler arm after Baszler did that to Moon in the last Takeover in Philadelphia. Moon an eclipse on the outside which gave me goosebumps. However, Baszler caught Moon in a rear-naked choke, Ember tried to escape and she didn’t tap, nevertheless she passed out and a new champion was crowned.

NXT Tag Team Championships – Undisputed Era (c) def. Authors of Pain, Roderick Strong & Pete Dunne
Holy cow, I didn’t see this coming. Roderick Strong turned heel! Adam Cole, who won the opening match, was double chokeslammed through the Spanish announce table by AOP and was not seen for the rest of the match. However, at the end of the match, Pete Dunne hit the Bitter End on Kyle O’Reilly, but Roderick Strong his partner broke up the pin and hit Dunne with a backbreaker and O’Reilly was placed on top of Dunne for the win.

NXT Championship – Aleister Black def. Andrade “Cien” Almas
Another classic for Black and Almas. Almas proved he is main event material in this match. Zelina Vega interfered multiple times nearly costing Black the championship. I was seriously engaged in this match there were so many near falls. Vega went for a crossbody on Black but he moved out the way and she was caught by Almas. He then turned around into a Black Mass for the 1-2-3.
Rating 4.5/5
Johnny Gargano def. Tommasso Ciampa
Gargano won his job back in a brutal match between former best friends and bitter enemies. There were great storytelling moments in this match with many great moments of symbolism with a crutch and Ciampa’ knee brace. Following an epic finish, which both former members of DIY kick out in almost impossible fashion, Gargano appeared reluctant to finish off his former friend with a broken crutch. But after Gargano sat down next to his bitter enemy, he quickly ducked Ciampa’s attempt to hit him with his knee brace and went on to force the tap out by Gargano Escape. My match of the night.

Overview
This was might be my favourite PPV of all time. I enjoyed every part of it. I was shocked by heel turns and amazed by amazing wrestling. There is no way Wrestlemania can live up to this. I can’t wait for NXT on Wednesday!

It was really good indeed. I feel sorry for Wrestlemania. It won’t be even half as good.

Totally agree, Mania doesn’t no chance in hell to live up to this Takeover. To be honest most NXT PPVs are better than main roster PPVs
