Predictions are back! It’s been a long while but it’s Wrestlemania season so I have to bring them back. I’ll update this if there are any changes.
NXT Tag Team Championship – Undisputed Era (c) vs Authors of Pain vs Roderick Strong & Pete Dunne:
I believe the Authors of Pain are going to be called up to Raw or Smackdown after Wrestlemania so I believe they definitely not going to win. Even though Triple H likes Pete Dunne a lot. I don’t think he’ll put two championships on him. I believe Undisputed Era will slither their way to a title defence and will hold the belts until they decide to properly push Adam Cole to the NXT Championship. (Bobby Fish is injured so Adam Cole is taking his place.)
Prediction: Undisputed Era
NXT Women’s Championship – Ember Moon (c) vs Shayna Baszler:
In January at NXT Takeover Philadelphia in January, Baszler couldn’t dethrone Moon. Even though Baszler outwrestled Moon. Moon outsmarted Baszler and even though Shayna held her in an arm lock for what seemed like a decade. Ember got the pinfall in the end. This time I think Baszler will beat Moon. Just because I think Moon is joining The Authors of Pain on the main roster. Shayna will be a great heel champion, and she can take the Women’s division into a different direction.
Prediction: Shayna Baszler
NXT North American Championship (Ladder Match) – Adam Cole vs Velveteen Dream vs Kilian Dane vs Lars Sullivan vs Ricochet vs EC3
Who will become the inaugural NXT North American Champion? To be honest I don’t know. I don’t think it’ll be Cole because I think he’s going to retain the Tag Championships with Kyle O’Reilly. However, everyone else has a chance of winning this match. EC3 or Ricochet might win because it’s their debut PPV matches. However, everyone else is a credible threat. I’m not sure so I’m gonna say EC3.
Prediction: EC3
NXT Championship- Andrade “Cien” Almas (c) vs Aleister Black
Almas has done a great job as champion, he’s put on great matches and with the help of Zelina Vega has become a household name among the NXT fans. However, it’s Black time. I’m currently thinking of Black hitting Almas with the Black Mass in the middle of the ring and finally becoming NXT champion. This match is bound to be great.
Prediction: Aleister Black
Johnny Gargano vs Tommaso Ciampa
This should be the match of the whole Wrestlemania weekend. The storyline is wonderful, the wrestlers are extremely talented and if this match is anything as good as their match in 2016 in the Cruiserweight Classic I’ll be happy. Ciampa is going to get booed out of the building and if he wins there might be a riot. Gargano represents the underdog coming to beat the person that tried to ruin his career and because of these reasons, Johnny Gargano will win.
Prediction: Johnny Gargano
