TheWrestlingFallacy Watches Elimination Chamber 2014

The Elimination Chamber is 13 days away and I thought I would watch a random Elimination Chamber PPV and go through it.

Jack Swagger vs Big E (c) – Intercontinental Championship

Zeb Colter comes out with Swagger in this match and tells the sound people to cut the music. Then he goes on to say that, Big E is the reason for illegal immigrants coming into the USA. I was nearly in tears!

Big E comes out hot getting the advantage over Swagger hitting him with some beautiful belly to belly suplexes. Swagger spills to the outside where Big E meets him with a lariat taking Swagger down. However, Colter comes behind E and E is about to lay the smackdown on Colter but Swagger turns around and attempts to hit him with a right hand but E blocks and drives Swagger to the steel steps. Swagger takes advantage again by leaving the ring and then pulling E back first onto the floor. Swagger begins to dominate as your typical WWE match script comes to fruition. E fights back then both men hit each other with clothesline laying themselves both out. Big E goes for a shoulder tackle in the corner but Swagger moves out the way and attempts a roll up and E kicks out. E starts to build momentum nevertheless, Swagger reverses Big E’s Big Splash into a Spinebuster which E kicks out of. Darren Young vs Titus O’Neill

O’Neill started this match taunting Young. You could tell this match was just to relax the crowd after the first two matches and it was blatant that the crowd didn’t care about the match. O’Neill dominated the early start of the match. Young began to build momentum with a clothesline over the top rope and a flying lariat but the strength of O’Neill came back by Irish whipping him into over the top rope and constantly driving Young’s back into the ring post. Young went for a crossbody but O’Neill caught him and hit him with two backbreakers before tossing him across the ring. Young eventually started to rally with a neckbreaker on the apron but O’Neill kicked out. O’ Neill reversed Young’s finisher (I guess) and hit him with the Clash of the Titus for the win.

After two minutes Cameron gained momentum until Aj used Cameron momentum to take her out of the ring where she celebrated like she had won the match and Cameron swiped her legs out from the apron. Batista vs Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio came out in a neck brace, tracksuit and crutches, showing the effects of Batista attacking him 2 weeks prior to the event. Del Rio said because of that attack he couldn’t compete. Then from out of nowhere, he attacked Batista with the crutch. This was a genius idea from Del Rio. The bell rang and the crowd were behind Del Rio. Del Rio targeted the arm of Batista.
