The two guest referee match doesn’t make sense to me. This is one of WWE’s wacky ideas that never made sense.
When Daniel Bryan announced this I was instantly confused. I’m watching the match while writing this and when Daniel and Shane went to count a pin it wasn’t even in time.
They decided that half of the ring belonged to Shane and half belonged to Daniel.
Shane on multiple occasions decided to count on Daniel Bryan’s side when Kevin Owens or Sami Zayn would be pinned which helped the storyline of Shane wanting Sami and Kevin fired.
There was a point in the match where Nakamura had a triangle on Owens and both shoulders were down on Nakamura and Daniel went for a pin but Shane pulled him off.
Orton hit an RKO on Zayn and Shane went for the count but Owens pushed Bryan into Shane.
Sami Zayn rolled up Orton and Shane refused to count. Then straight after Orton got rolled up again and Bryan fast counted causing Owens and Zayn to win.
