WWE No Mercy Thoughts and reactions to predictions

Let’s start off with the main event. I predicted Braun Strowman to win the Universal Title and it was his time in my opinion. I hope they have a rematch in a no DQ match and Strowman comes away with the championship so we can have something fresh on Raw.

Cena vs Reigns
Well this match was good however it turned into a kick out festival. Reigns won, as Cena wanted to pass his torch on to a young “talent” in Reigns. Hopefully this feud has been a learning curve to Reigns so he can be the top guy that we WWE want him to be.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins vs The Bar – tag team titles

This match was good and had many near falls. I’m still waiting for an Ambrose heel turn however I think it was the right decision to keep the belts on them so it could build up a real story between Ambrose and Rollins. I hope Sheamus and Cesaro can go solo and maybe eventually win some gold.

The Miz vs Jason Jordan.
Phew. I never thought I would say this but the Miztourage are great. In my opinion I think that it’s good to keep the belt on Miz. The fans are not over with Jordan yet and I think the Miz could elevate Jordan into a future WWE Universal Champion.

Result: The Miz (thank God)

Fatal 5 way Womens Championship
The way this was built up was crap. However the match was decent in the end. Bliss retained which I thought was a bad decision as I thought Nia Jax deserved her opportunity. Furthermore I would prefer to see Asuka vs Nia Jax rather than Asuka vs Alexa Bliss.

Enzo Amore vs Neville Cruiserweight Championship

…… Why WWE why. Ok. I see what WWE are trying to do with Enzo. However it won’t work. WWE want Enzo to be like the Eddie Guerrero of the modern day scene. Also they want people to actually watch 205 Live. But Enzo doesn’t have the in ring ability to pull it off. I hope Neville wins the title back because I feel like Enzo doesn’t represent the Cruiserweight style of wrestling.

Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt

Nothing much to say on this one. It was an OK match. However these two should be towards the main event. Finn won. Good i hope they stop feuding now because this whole rivalry was trash.
