Amanda Nunes is the greatest female fighter of all time. There’s no dispute about it. She’s currently 19-4 in her professional MMA career. Now at face value, her record doesn’t seem GOAT worthy but she is a fighter that has improved with age.
Her last loss was to Cat Zingano via TKO back in 2014.In the UFC, she’s 12-1 and looking at the competition she’s faced, there’s and the quality they possess, for example, the likes of Holly Holm, Ronda Rousey and Valentina Shevchenko to name a few.
No one comes close in the GOAT talks.I don’t think anyone else will beat her. Nunes, who currently holds the Featherweight and Bantamweight titles, has defeated all previous champions of both divisions, looks great every time she steps into the octagon.
Cris Cyborg was destroyed by Nunes in her penultimate in a way we’ve never seen Cyborg get dominated before. She completely destroyed her.
In the Bantamweight division, it seems like Aspen Ladd could be a future contender, even though she lost in 16 seconds to De Randamie, but I don’t see her beating Nunes anytime soon.
We’ll hopefully see Nunes fight twice this year and as one of my favourite fighters I hope she remains double champion and I believe she’ll be a double champion for the next few years until her body starts to catch up with her. Thanks for reading, Have a nice day!
